Burner mayonnaise
Many (former) Groningers still remember the taste of the mayonnaise from cafeteria Brander on the Grote Markt in Groningen. For thirty years, this special mayonnaise with a flavor all its own was a phenomenon. And ... the phenomenon from Groningen is back!
Local hero from the north
The Brander sauce was conceived and created by the Brander family of Cafeteria Brander, which sat on the Grote Markt. For 30 years, the sauce was available in the cafeteria. When the cafeteria closed its doors, that also meant the end of the sauce. A shame! Years later, we approached the family in hopes of getting the recipe and letting the sauce live on. Not long after, the Burner was added to the menu by many cafeterias!
Accessible, delicious and special
What makes this mayonnaise so special? A little more mustard, visible pieces of pepper and a special blend of spices have been added to the Brander Mayonnaise. Due to its unique composition, this sauce has a delicious and surprising taste, which goes very well with chips, snacks, salads and chicken. But in addition, of course, you can use it with a lot of other dishes.
Hospitality opportunities
Over the past 10 years, demand for the mayonnaise has only increased. The Burner is now available at wholesalers everywhere.
